Parent Orientation: Welcoming New Families To The TreeHouse Way

We recently hosted a Parent Orientation session at our Ranip campus, bringing new and returning families together for an afternoon of introductions and information. Our teachers walked parents through what a day at TreeHouse actually looks like, from morning circle time to snack breaks and story sessions, so that home and school could start the year on the same page.

The session covered our teaching philosophy, the term's learning themes, and the small routines we use to help children feel secure, things like consistent seating, familiar songs and gentle transitions between activities. Parents also got a look at the safety and hygiene practices followed on campus, and had the chance to ask questions about everything from lunch boxes to pick-up timings.

What stood out most was how many parents stayed back afterwards to chat with their child's teacher one-on-one. That kind of comfort and openness is exactly what an orientation is meant to build, because a child settles in best when parents and teachers are already speaking the same language. We are grateful to every family who took the time to join us, and we look forward to a year of close partnership ahead.
