Why We Follow The Montessori Method At TreeHouse
Walk into any TreeHouse classroom and you will notice something different: low shelves lined with hands-on materials that children are free to choose, touch and explore at their own pace. That is the Montessori method in action - a belief that children learn best not by being told, but by doing, repeating and discovering for themselves in a carefully prepared environment.
Our teachers are trained to observe rather than instruct first, stepping in only to demonstrate a material or gently redirect, and to celebrate the concentration a child shows while stacking, sorting or pouring rather than rushing them to the next task. Combined with Playway activities, songs and stories, this gives children in our Jr.KG and Sr.KG classrooms a rare mix of structure and freedom.
Parents often ask why their child suddenly wants to pour their own juice or fold their own clothes at home - that quiet sense of independence is exactly what Montessori materials are designed to build, one small, real task at a time, and it is something we are proud to nurture in every branch.
